Coaching is more than sending training sessions to athletes. I get to know the individual and work closely with them to create a balanced program that will help them achieve their goals without taking over their life.

What I Offer

A free initial call

to discuss your goals.

This can be a phone call, Zoom call or an in-person chat (location depending) to explore your objectives in strength, endurance or multisport and to see if I can help.

 

Remote or in person Coaching

 with bespoke training programs.

Sessions are tailored to your preferences— Your program will include weekly training sessions customised to fit your unique goals, whether you're focusing on a specific event or overall fitness. These can be delivered however you prefer: via a training platform, Excel, or handwritten; whichever works best for you

Weekly or monthly support

via Zoom, whatsapp, over the phone or in person (location depending).

You’ll have access to ongoing support and regular check-ins for feedback, questions, and adjustments as we progress through your training plan, keeping you on track and accountable.

I’ll provide guidance on strategies for optimal performance, whether you're preparing for a race, a competition, or simply working toward a personal milestone. This includes advice on nutrition, hydration, pacing, and other key aspects to ensure you’re prepared for your event.

I’ll develop a personalised training plan based on your current fitness levels and specific needs. Using performance metrics such as heart rate, power, pace, or perceived exertion, I’ll help you identify your baselines and build a targeted program to improve your strength, endurance and performance.

To fine-tune your training.

We’ll regularly review your training results and any competition or event performances to make adjustments and ensure your program is always aligned with your evolving goals, helping you continuously improve.

If you’re new to multisport, fitness or endurance training, I know how overwhelming it can fee. I'm here to guide you through it all, making your journey as simple and straightforward as possible.

I'm Qualified

As well as having a passion for endurance sports, I'm qualified.

​

I have a CIMSPA certified Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing and a CIMSPA certified Level 3 Diploma in Personal training. I also have  a Triathlon Ireland Tri Leaders Award, as part of the coaching development programme for Triathlon Ireland.​

About me

My name is Cormac and here to help - I’m passionate about helping beginners and improving athletes take the next step in their fitness journey, guiding them through training, recovery, nutrition, strength work, and everything it takes to be race-ready or to achieve personal fitness goals.

​

I’ve been competing in running since 2010 and triathlons since 2016. When I signed up for my first race, I didn’t even know how to swim—a surprisingly common story for many new triathletes and endurance athletes.

​

Since then, I’ve raced in every triathlon distance, from sprint to Ironman, with a few age-group wins along the way. I also have many marathons under my belt, countless half marathons and 10Ks, as well as swim-run and duathlon events.

 

I started as a complete novice in endurance sports, and I’ve been through every stage that beginners face. Over the years, I’ve taken the same steps to improve and become more competitive, learning invaluable lessons from some excellent coaches along the way.
